DAY 1 — June 8th | Foundations of Floral Design

Location: Park Hill Studios

Day One focuses on building strong technical and creative foundations—setting you up for confident, intentional design throughout the retreat with Hilary and Ashlee from Wildwood

What you’ll learn & experience:

  • The fundamentals of floral design, including structure, balance, scale, and movement

  • Professional flower prep and care techniques to maximize longevity and quality

  • How to work with floral mechanics and create strong, reliable design foundations

  • Designing centrepieces with intention for a larger, cohesive reception vision

  • How to prep and plan mechanics for a large-scale ceremony installation

DAY 2 — June 9th | Editorial Design & Industry Connection

Day Two brings your designs into a luxury editorial setting, focusing on storytelling, styling, and connection within the industry.

  • Bouquet design focused on movement, composition, and narrative, led by Hannah from The Saol Project

  • How to design cohesive tablescapes using florals, linens, and tableware

  • Styling florals for photography and editorial impact

  • How to create portfolio-worthy branding imagery for your business

  • Building meaningful industry relationships through conversation and collaboration

  • Ceremony planning and colour palette development with Sofiya from Wind Flower

  • Translating a design vision into a full ceremony installation

  • Large-scale installation techniques and on-site workflow
